Sage Mountain Primitives is now a store with more than just primitives. Our store has primitives, many hand knitted, crocheted, and woven items, hand made lotions, ointments, muscle rubs, 100% soy candles, lip balms, soaps, yarn, spinning and fiber supplies, we also have movie rentals on DVD, and VHS coming soon, The kids are at work putting in their OLD FASHIONED CANDY and SODA BAR and hope to have it up and running very soon, They currently have 30+ flavors of ice cold bottled vintage sodas, there's a video arcade for everyone. We are also having classes on a regular basis in our large classroom, we are teaching knitting, crochet, spinning, wet felting, nuno felting, needle felting, hat on a ball, and many other classes, so please call for our class schedule and to sign up for classes, or you can find our schedule in the locale monthly paper called the Community Breeze, request to be on our e-mail list for class schedules, or you can also find us on the North Lake Activity Centers web site www.northlakeactivitycenter.com, just go to the calendars. We also have an open class time on Wednesday's so People can just come on in and visit or get help with a project. We are also starting a addictions support group in February called "KNITTING IT TOGETHER ONE STITCH AT A TIME" This will be every other Tue. starting 2/7/12 from 6:30PM-8:30PM, this group is open to anyone who is struggling with a habit they would like to get rid of no matter how small or big. the goal is to help people overcome what ever it is and put something more positive in its place, this is to be a very relaxed and supportive group meeting that will have all walks of life, and we are welcoming both men,women,teens into this group, please come with the feeling of being loved by all who are here! SAGE MOUNTAIN PRIMITIVES is located in the Oregon Outback, also known as the High Desert. It is a place of extreme beauty with lots of wildlife and plenty of sagebrush. Here in our little town of Christmas Valley, primitives are inspired by a life of simpiler times, where cattle drives are something very common, and almost every place of business has a hitchin post out side. I truely love making primitives, all of my dolls are my very own creation, all of my patterns are hand drawn by myself, if I do use someone else's pattern I will give full credit to the artist that created it.
